I BIENAL DO MERCOSUL POSTER IS A CRAFT OF THE GAÚCHO ARTIST
    > Marcos Oliveria, gaúcho born in Novo Hamburgo, won the great contest for the I Bienal de Artes Visuais do Mercosul(I Bienal of Visual Arts of Mercosul) poster. The choice was made on April 20th by a jury formed by Justo Werlang, President of the Fundação Bienal, Frederico Morais, General Guardian and the graphic designers Rubén Fontana (Argentina), Santiago Pol (Venezuela) and Felipe Taborda (Brasil).

    > Besides the winner five honourable mentions were given to Ariel Mitnick (Chile), Bernardo Elrich (Argentina), Maria Saraiva (Brazil), Maria Carolina Arnal/Waleska Belisario (Venezuela) and Gustavo Lomano (Argentina). Were examined 310 works and 29 were selected as finalists.
